OKC is committed to serving all people. City employees, including police officers and firefighters, focus on their core responsibilities to provide essential services. City employees do not ask about immigration status when providing services. This ensures everyone can:• Access City services• Call for help in emergencies• Report crimes and cooperate with OKCPD• Live and work in the community
As part of the City’s service line inventory and in compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), the City first sent notification letters to Utilities customers by the EPA deadline of Nov. 15, 2024. These letters informed customers if the public and/or private service line material at their property had been verified as lead or galvanized requiring replacement. Customers with unverified service line material also received notification letters.
After 2024, notices will continue to be sent annually by the EPA deadline (typically sometime between October and December) to all properties until both the public and private service lines at the property have been verified as non-lead.
The table below provides links to digital copies of the annual notices mailed to customers as part of the Lead-Safe OKC program. The table is arranged to show a variety of potential public and private water service line material pairings a property could have. The associated notice can be found linked in the same row.
To determine the notice that applies to your property, search your property address in the Lead-Safe Community Database.
