Abstracts of the Oklahoma City Municipal Improvement Authority (OCMIA), 1929 - 1987 12 c.f.
This record group consists of Abstracts of Title for parcels of land purchased for the Elm Creek Reservoir, Lake Atoka Reservoir, and Lake Draper. Records in this group are arranged in an imposed numeric order. The abstracts are not filed chronologically; the dates assigned to each box indicate the most recent date for the first and last abstract in each box. Abstracts may include a corresponding deed number, City Council memorandum, or other supporting information.

This record group is a portion of minutes and agendas of public bodies. Boards, Commissions, Committee, and Trusts represented in this record group are the Board of Adjustment, Board of Appeals, Bond Issue Executive Committee, Building Code Commission, Citizens Financial Study Committee, Community Relations Commission, Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority (COTPA), Downtown Planning, Game and Fish Commission, Historical Preservation Commission, License Review Board, Oklahoma City Airport Trust (OCAT), Oklahoma City Municipal Facilities Authority (OCMFA) and its' successor Oklahoma City Municipal Improvement Authority (OCMIA), Oklahoma City Park Trust, Oklahoma City Public Property Authority (OCPPA), Oklahoma City Golf Commission, Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT), Park Commission, and the Planning Commission.

Bond Fund Files, 1945 - 1979 64 c.f.
The Oklahoma City Bond Fund record group consists of documents generated by the propositions, elections and projects of approved bond fund monies between 1945 – 1979. The bulk of the records include resolutions, ordinances, bids, project specifications and plans, contracts and payment authorizations. Engineering reports, correspondence, bond transfers, The City of Oklahoma City Council memos and agendas are part of the supplemental documentation related to bond projects and expenditures.

Budget Files, 1923 - 2018 18.3 c.f. 49 Volumes
This record group contains comprehensive budget documents submitted to City Council. Some years include Council items and audit reports in addition to the Operating Annual Budget and Supporting detail volumes.

Includes the organic law of the City. Also includes amendments.

City Council dockets, or packets, contain the agenda and all items to be considered. Each item is accompanied by a memorandum from the department or origin. Packets contain some confidential information from businesses and may be weeded by City Clerk staff.

City Council Proceedings (unofficial), 1965 - 1990 5.3 c.f.
Council Proceedings record group from 1965 through 1990 contain The City of Oklahoma City Council agendas, summaries, publications, bid tabulations lists and recorded project bids. The document prepared before the meeting, showing all items to be considered was historically called the Final Docket, and is known in later years as the Formal Agenda. The document prepared after the meeting that shows a record of actions taken or documents adopted is the Summary. The format of the summary varies. In 1965 summaries are typewritten memos to the City Manager from City Council and include a synopsis of actions taken or stricken. There are no vote counts for individual officials or items. The handwritten notes of the Office of City Clerk include document numbers for Plans and Specifications, Contracts, Resolutions, and Easements, among others. There are no Publication or Bid tabulation lists from 1971 – 1990 or Agendas from 1967 in the record group. Proceedings run 1965-1976.

City Manager Reports, 1974 - 2012 9.3 c.f.
This record group contains reports given by City staff to the City Manager during City Council meetings. Topics range from traffic issues to water management. Presentations of these reports will appear on City Council agendas and proceedings.

File series created by the Office of the Mayor staff and combined with file series created by the Office of City Clerk staff. The Committee Lists include appointment letters and rosters of committees, commissions, boards and other appointed ad hock and task force groups.

Election Files, 1908 - 2004 14 c.f.
The Election Files Record Group contains The City of Oklahoma City official election records between 1908 through 2004. Election types include: Primary and General Mayoral, City Council, Charter Amendments, Bond Fund, Sales Tax and Franchise elections. Types of documents contained in the folders are official election results, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, affidavits, ballots and ephemera. Not represented in this collection are the years 1951 – 1960.

Trust files consist of ordinances, deeds, financial reports, agreements, contracts, leases, agendas & minutes.

The Metropolitan Area Projects (MAPS) approved by voters as a one cent sales tax program that constructed nine projects between 1995 - 2004. The records of the MAPS projects include the agendas and minutes of the MAPS Citizens Oversight Board, master plans and annual reports of progress and finances. Project files detailing approved and amended construction plans and funding sources tell the whole story of each of these projects from conception to completion.

The MAPS for Kids paper files include agendas and minutes of the Metropolitan Area Public Schools Trust monthly meetings, master plans and financial reports, funding requests from schools, and individual project files. Meeting agendas and minutes 2008-2018 are electronic as part of the Agenda Management system.

Bound volumes containing typescript minutes recorded during meetings of City Council. The volumes have been microfilmed and electronic copies of the film is available.

Miscellaneous Council Actions, 1892 - 1967 14 c.f.
The Miscellaneous Council Actions record group is a collection of records culled together by the Office of City Clerk. The records include early oaths of office and public official bonds, election nominations and returns, and letters to the Mayor and Council. Reports of commissions and department staff are also found, as well as petitions from residents and business owners for actions by the City or permission for actions of their own. Some of the records are items that failed to be approved by City Council. The prevailing topics are citizen petitions, requests for funds for City staff professional development, requests for various event permits, contracts and agreements for service.

Municipal Code, The City of Oklahoma City 1909 - 2010 13 c.f.
The Municipal Code record group contains bound volumes, supplements, and chapter code publications of The City of Oklahoma City Municipal Code, 1909 – 2012. Indexes are separately published volumes corresponding to an annual supplement or bound code volume.

Color 35 mm slides of repairs and events in the Myriad Convention Center, 1969-1983 includes plans and scale models (1969) and Okc marathon (1983) bulk dates 1974-1976.

News Clippings, Scrapbooks 1929 - 2006 10 c.f.
City staff created newspaper and loose clippings scrapbooks, documenting the development of the city. The Skirvin Hotel renovation and Planning Department documents were transferred to the City Clerk's office by the Planning Department, 2013 and 2014. Subject files were created from materials collected from the City Clerk's office. This group of materials has been culled together due to the ephemeral nature of the materials. It is organized topically.

Petitions, 1908 - 2012 11 c.f.
Initiative Referendum petitions are documents signed by residents and submitted to The City of Oklahoma City requesting an election be held on an issue or action, such as a change in tax code. Other petitions include recall and taxpayer written demands. Records consist of signature sheets, memos, measures, letters, ballots, protest documents, resolutions, affidavits, legal documents, and petition forms.

Petroleum Pipeline Agreements, 1929 - 1969 20 c.f.
The Petroleum Pipeline Agreements are documents generated in order to construct oil and natural gas pipelines throughout The City of Oklahoma City. The permit applications, agreements, cancellations, resolutions, transfers and blueprint plans found in this series reflect the newly established business requirements of pipelines within city limits. The majority of the documents date from 1929 to 1950 with the exception of Phillips Petroleum Company documents dated 1930 to 1984.

The Plans and Specifications record group includes oversized plan drawings, specification booklets, reports, and other documents related to construction projects publicly funded and overseen by the City. The plans in the Office of City Clerk are the Approved Plans, having been on the City Council agenda.

Public Notice Books consist of newspaper clippings of notices published by the City Clerk's Office according to State Law.

Archival materials, objects and photographs transferred from the Public Works Department. Includes drafting supplies and tools, various awards.
