Inspired by Oklahoma's state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher, SkyDance Bridge soars over Interstate 40. The bridge is a 380-foot-long pedestrian bridge with a 197-foot-tall sculpture.

SkyDance Bridge was created for the City of Oklahoma City by SkyBridge Design, LLC. and is a copyright protected work. All rights reserved.

  • The bridge opened in 2012.
  • It connects Upper and Lower Scissortail Park.
  • Total cost for the pedestrian bridge was $5.8 million.
  • The bridge design and structural engineering were performed locally by S-X-L.

Fun fact - SkyDance Bridge was featured on a USPS stamp.
