The mission of OKC Parks is to provide cultural, social and recreational experiences to our community so they can have the opportunity to cultivate wellness and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

Rentals & Reservations

Event planning is easy when you choose from one of OKC Parks rental facilities. With three event centers, two amphitheaters, 17 picnic pavilions, plus outdoor garden spaces and other specialty areas, we have just the venue to fit every style and budget.

Pools and Aquatic Centers

OKC Parks has the cool getaway you need from the hot summer sun. Purchase a summer pass for your family, participate in swim lessons, book the pool for a party, or stop by anytime to enjoy our two family aquatic centers, one outdoor community pool, one indoor pool, or any of our 16 spraygrounds sprinkled throughout OKC.

Get in the game with one of Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department's adult or youth sports programs. Multiple programs are available throughout the year, and are open to both individuals and teams.

Route 66

Route 66, also known as the Will Rogers Highway, was established 95 years ago on November 11, 1926. It originally ran nearly 2,500 miles from Chicago, Illinois, through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. Oklahoma has more than 400 miles of the famed highway, more lane miles than any other state.

Public Transportation and Parking

Public Transportation and Parking, operated by EMBARK, connects OKC with buses, the RAPID transit system, streetcars, paratransit, and ferry services. EMBARK also manages downtown parking facilities, ensuring seamless, multi-modal transit options across the city.

Homelessness

Oklahoma City continues to work toward achieving the goal of ending homelessness through collaboration with non-profit agencies, the faith-based community and state agencies.

The Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs fosters Oklahoma City's vibrant arts scene by managing public art programs, supporting artists, and promoting cultural development. It connects artists, businesses, and residents while encouraging preservation and creative growth in our community.
