Oklahoma City Utilities crews are working a 12-inch water main break on MacArthur Avenue at Northwest 39th Street. Southbound traffic on MacArthur is limited to turning east or west only onto 39th Street. Drivers who need to go south on MacArthur at 39th will need to detour.

OKC moves Tuesday trash and recycling collection to Saturday, Jan. 31

Due to anticipated poor road conditions, the Oklahoma City Utilities Department has moved Tuesday, Jan. 27, trash and recycling collection to Saturday, Jan. 31. In the interest of safety, the adjustment allows collection drivers to avoid the numerous miles of residential and neighborhood streets that are snow-covered and slick.

OKC adjusts trash and recycling schedule ahead of winter weather

At this time, trash and recycling collection will proceed as scheduled on Friday, Jan. 23; however, customers should set out their carts at the curb tonight or before 5 a.m., as crews will start routes early. Due to anticipated road conditions, trash and recycling collection scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Jan. 28.
