Access to duck hunting blinds improved at Lake Draper and Stinchcomb Oklahoma’s waterfowl season opens Nov.1, and a change to Oklahoma City’s ordinance will allow more hunters to access City land. The Oklahoma City Council voted in September to update the ordinance to allow for daily rentals.
OKC Parks marks 50th anniversary of Will Rogers Senior Center The Will Rogers Senior Center 50th Anniversary Celebration will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the center, 3501 Pat Murphy Dr. This free event will include music, activities and refreshments. The celebration is planned for Nov. 4 in honor of the birthday of Will Rogers, the legendary humorist and cowboy known as Oklahoma’s Favorite Son.
