Fishing

Fishing is available year-round on the City's three lakes and eight Close to Home fishing waters.

More than just a park, Martin Park Nature Center is a hub for nature exploration and education for visitors of all ages. Guided hikes, education programs and an interactive learning center provide visitors a place to learn about nature and wildlife in a serene, suburban environment.

Pools and Aquatic Centers

OKC Parks has the cool getaway you need from the hot summer sun. Purchase a summer pass for your family, participate in swim lessons, book the pool for a party, or stop by anytime to enjoy our two family aquatic centers, one outdoor community pool, one indoor pool, or any of our 16 spraygrounds sprinkled throughout OKC.

Public Golf Courses

Oklahoma City is home to five municipal courses throughout the city with driving ranges, restaurants, clubhouses, and more. These publicly owned courses offer lessons, clinics, tournaments, and events. Membership is not required.

Rentals & Reservations

Event planning is easy when you choose from one of OKC Parks rental facilities. With three event centers, two amphitheaters, 17 picnic pavilions, plus outdoor garden spaces and other specialty areas, we have just the venue to fit every style and budget.

Sports

Get in the game with one of Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department's adult or youth sports programs. Multiple programs are available throughout the year, and are open to both individuals and teams.

Trails

Ready for outdoor fun? Then lace up your sneakers or hop on your bike and enjoy the nearly 100 miles of the City's multi-use trails. The Oklahoma City trails system offers recreation and exercise fun along a network of inter-connected trails that can take you to almost every point in the City.

Will Rogers Gardens

These historic gardens provide serene settings and dynamic programs for casual park visitors and experienced green thumbs alike. The jewel of the Gardens is the Ed Lycan Conservatory, a glass-enclosed Lord & Burnham greenhouse inspired by 19th-century Victorian architecture.

OKC Park Hours

Outdoor public parks are open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. by City ordinance. Indoor facilities, Martin Park Nature Center and Will Rogers Gardens have individualized operating hours. Lake hours are also 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., except for permitted activities, such as boating and fishing. Permits allow use of the lakes any time or day.

Seniors

OKC Parks has two senior activity centers, offering a wide variety of programs and activities that engage both body and mind. Seniors enjoy special exhibitions, social events, and weekend trips to nearby destinations.

Spraygrounds

OKC Parks operates 16 spraygrounds at parks throughout the city. With a variety of buttons, buckets, cannons, and levers to douse you with water, the spraygrounds are perfect for kids to cool off and play.
