Surrender A Pet

We encourage all pet owners to work through any challenges with your pet before giving it up.

We accept owner surrender animals by appointment only. All appointments are scheduled 10-14 days from the date the appointment is made. There are resources available to assist you with keeping your pet in the home or finding alternate placement other than the shelter. Please see our resource list below. Appointments can be made in person at the shelter or by calling 405-297-3100. If no Animal Welfare Representatives are available you may leave a voicemail and you will be contacted within 24 hours.
