OKC Animal Welfare has four donation funds to choose from:
- Operating: Operating fund donations help homeless pets by paying for OKC Animal Shelter improvements, equipment, adoption services and events, training, enrichment programs, specialized staff expenses, training and more. It helps keep OKC's thousands of homeless pets safe, happy, stimulated and ready to be reunited with their owners, adopted or placed in a transfer program.
- Angel Fund: Angel Fund donations help pets in need of critical medical care for injuries, illnesses, nursing litters and more, including animals recovering from cruelty, abuse and neglect. The fund pays for the veterinary care and emergency treatment at the OKC Animal Shelter and outside partners.
- Disaster Relief: Donations to this fund help pay for the rescue, sheltering and treatment of OKC pets displaced by disasters. The fund also helps pay for education programs and volunteer training that helps save the lives of OKC pets during disaster preparation, response and recovery.
- Community Programs: Help OKC Animal Welfare fund community programs that promote responsible pet ownership. Donations to this fund help keep pets in loving homes and save lives by controlling pet overpopulation. Programs include spay and neuter surgery, education and outreach, the Pet Food Bank, volunteer initiatives and the community cats program.
Donate online or fill out this donation form(PDF, 70KB), and include a donation by check, money order or cash when you mail it or bring it in person to OKC Animal Welfare, 2811 SE 29th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73129. We'll provide you with a letter for your records acknowledging your tax-deductible donation.
