Customer Notification

As part of the City’s service line inventory and in compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), the City sent notification letters to Utilities customers by the EPA deadline of Nov. 15, 2024. These letters informed customers if the public and/or private service line material at their property had been verified as lead or galvanized requiring replacement. Customers with unverified service line material also received notification letters. Moving forward, annual notices will be sent to all properties until both the public and private service lines at the property have been verified as non-lead.

The table below provides links to digital copies of the annual notices mailed to customers as part of the Lead-Safe OKC program. The table is arranged to show the variety of potential public and private water service line material pairings a property could have. The associated notice can be found linked in the same row.

To determine the notice that applies to your property, search your property address in the Lead-Safe Community Database.
