Water Conservation Gardens
Learn more about water-wise landscaping by visiting Oklahoma City's water conservation gardens. There are three located across the city.
Myriad Botanical Gardens
You can find water conservation signs in the southeast geometric garden beds at 301 W Reno Ave. You can join the Garden Walking Tour on the last Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. The tour highlights plants that save water while adding color. You can also pick up a handout in the south lobby for a self-guided tour.
The OKC Zoo and Botanical Gardens
The water conservation garden is on the southwest side of the pachyderm building. This garden features drought-tolerant plants and shows how to design a landscape that uses less water.
Bluff Creek Park
The newest water conservation garden is at the entrance to Bluff Creek Park on N Meridian Ave, off W Hefner Road. The park also has shady walking and biking trails.
The different gardens showcase Oklahoma tough landscapes and designs that can be used in your own yard.
