Twice a year, Oklahoma City water and residential solid waste customers can take old junk and debris
to a local landfill for free.
The next free landfill day is: Saturday, September 8.

What is accepted: Regular household trash, furniture, appliances, other acceptable bulky items. Construction debris, including drywall, bricks and concrete are only accepted at one landfill. See below for participating landfills.
What is not accepted: household hazardous waste, tires, oils, automotive parts, pool chemicals, automotive parts, car batteries, propane tanks, electronic waste and appliances containing Freon or other refrigerants are not accepted. (Call Customer Service at (405) 297-2833 to arrange for special appliance pick-up for items with Freon or other refrigerants.)
How much can I take?
Each residential household may drop off one load using a passenger vehicle or truck up to a 1-ton and one trailer up to 16-feet long. Commercial waste haulers are not allowed.
Do I have to show an ID?
To participate, customers must present an original current Oklahoma City water or trash bill (no photocopies accepted), or a copy of an e-bill as proof of residency.
