The Private Development Design Manual(PDF, 1MB) for Water & Wastewater Design Requirements ("Manual") is a technical resource for property owners, developers, professional engineers and other applicants to establish minimum requirements for construction and development projects. Use of this Manual does not assume approval of any plans, project, or other requesst. All plans for tie-ins to the City's Utilities water or wastewater infrastructure must be approved by the Private Development group in Utilities Engineering. The Oklahoma City Utilities Department reserves the right to make adjustments or additional requirements for development plans or applications on a case-by-case basis after evaluation by our engineering team. The City of Oklahoma City updates its development standards periodically. Users are responsible for making sure the most recent standards are specified. The current Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT) cover sheet and all Utilities standards are available below.
All standards are approved by the City Engineer for use within the City of Oklahoma City.
