Storm Water Quality Public Outreach

Storm Water Quality offers a variety of outreach programs designed to connect with local neighborhoods, schools and businesses across Oklahoma City.

Our volunteer programs include:

• Adopt-A-City Street – help keep our streets clean and litter-free.
• Waterway Clean Sweep – join fellow volunteers in protecting our rivers, creeks, and lakes.
• Curbs-to-Creeks – a program that highlights how storm drains connect directly to our waterways.

We also support and participate in community events that promote environmental awareness, such as Earth Day, H2Oklahoma, Innovation Week at the Science Museum, college and career fairs and youth camps.

In addition, Storm Water Quality staff provide free classroom programs for Oklahoma City Public Schools, giving students hands-on opportunities to learn how to protect our water resources.
