To become a prequalified contractor, an application must be submitted to the Citizen Access Portal 60 days prior to the board meeting. The Prequalification Board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Check the City’s board calendar for the next meeting. Standard Specifications for construction of public improvements can be viewed here.
Contractors, and subcontractors, are required to be prequalified for work on public construction contracts, private improvements that become public property and work on public property and/or within the right-of-way.
