The Mobile Integrated Healthcare Team

Mobile Integrated Healthcare is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals with specialized training in mental health, medical care, crisis response and recovery support.

Whether answering calls at the 911 Communications Center or responding on scene, MIH team members are equipped to help people in crisis with the respect and support they deserve.

 

The MIH team is made up of:

Clinicians

• Master’s degree in a mental health field.
• At least two years of experience with community social services or healthcare.
• Licensed as one of the following:
• • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Response Navigators

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field.
• At least two years of experience working in community behavioral health.
• Certified as a Behavioral Health Case Manager II through the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS).

Paramedics

• At least two years of experience as a licensed EMT–Paramedic.
• Licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Health and the National Registry of EMTs.
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Peer Recovery Support Specialists

• Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (C-PRSS).
• Trained in substance use recovery, de-escalation techniques and advocacy.
• Brings personal lived experience to help guide others on the path to recovery.
