Water main break impacts traffic at NW 30th and Western

Oklahoma City Utilities crews are working on a 6-inch water main break on Northwest 30th Street between Western Avenue and North Olie Avenue. The eastbound and westbound lanes of NW 30th between Western and Olie are temporarily closed while crews work in the area. Detours are in place.

NW Expressway overnight closures scheduled for May Avenue bridge work

The City of Oklahoma City is alerting motorists that, starting at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 21, westbound traffic on Northwest Expressway will temporarily close. The closures are required to allow crews to safely begin bridge demolition and removal as part of the ongoing May Avenue bridge replacement project.

Work begins on May Avenue bridge over NW Expressway

Walker Avenue Enhancement Project to improve corridor

The project will coordinate with the adjacent NW 23rd Street Enhancement Project to minimize impact on the community and will pause work to accommodate events such as Paseo First Fridays and the Paseo Arts Festival. The project is expected to be complete in early 2027.

Oklahoma City Utilities crews are working a 12-inch water main break on MacArthur Avenue at Northwest 39th Street. Southbound traffic on MacArthur is limited to turning east or west only onto 39th Street. Drivers who need to go south on MacArthur at 39th will need to detour.
