City Manager Oklahoma City has a Council-Manager form of government. The City Manager coordinates and directs City activities, carries out policies set by the City Council and exercises control over all City employees except those appointed by the City Council (City Auditor, Municipal Counselor, Municipal Judges and the Mayor’s office staff).
Government Relations The City of Oklahoma City partners with organizations to accomplish legislative objectives on the state and federal levels. The city also belongs to other groups but does not necessarily have political involvement with them.
Key to Home Partnership The Key to Home Partnership, a collaboration of more than 50 organizations, is working together to prevent and end homelessness in Oklahoma City. Together, we aim to serve as the collective voice for homelessness in our community.
Law Enforcement Policy Task Force Oklahoma City Council received a report on March 1, 2022, that includes 39 recommendations focused on de-escalation, community engagement and accountability. The 85-page report, prepared by consultant 21CP Solutions, is a product of the Law Enforcement Policy Task Force, the Community Policing Working Group and extensive community engagement, including a scientific survey on police services.
