Provide Help

We All Have a Role to Play.

How will you be someone's key to home?

Your donations support rehousing expenses that public funds cannot cover, such as furniture, deposits and application fees. You can also help create homes for individuals and families by donating gently used furniture or creating move-in kits with essential supplies.

While Key to Home is not a direct service provider, we partner with many organizations that serve our homeless neighbors every day in a variety of ways. Each partner plays a unique role in addressing homelessness in our community, and many have ample opportunities for volunteers.

The Key to Home Partnership established a fiscal sponsorship fund at Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFO) to accept tax-deductible donations. Use the link below for credit card donations or make checks payable to CFO with "Key to Home Flex Fund" in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 21210 Oklahoma City, OK 73156. CFO can also accept marketable securities and other complex gifts on behalf of the Key to Home Partnership. Please reach out to Erika Warren at erika.warren@okc.gov or contact CFO directly at (405) 488-1450 to learn more about making non-cash donations.

Do you have apartments to lease?

A critical piece to addressing homelessness in our community is ensuring there are enough housing units available for those ready to transition out of homelessness. Without sufficient housing inventory, we cannot effectively move individuals out of the homeless response system, creating a bottleneck as more people enter than leave the system. Housing is the key to solving homelessness, and we need support from our community to expand our housing inventory.
