Strategic Priorities

Ending homelessness in Oklahoma City requires a coordinated system that meets people where they are and helps them find lasting stability.

Early Intervention

Strategic Rehousing

System Supports for Families

Our work is organized around three core priorities:

Early Intervention stops homelessness as early as possible. Through problem-solving conversations and targeted, short-term support, we help individuals and families find safe alternatives to shelter quickly and cost-effectively.

Strategic Rehousing recognizes that homelessness looks different for everyone. From unsheltered veterans to families cycling through the shelter system, we're working to develop tailored pathways to permanent housing for more subpopulations.

Redesigning System Supports for Families reflects a community-driven commitment to closing the gaps that leave families stuck. Backed by $5 million in new funding over five years, we're building a faster, more effective pathway back to stable housing for parents, children, and caregivers across OKC.

Together, these priorities form a comprehensive approach, not just to help people find housing, but to help them keep it. Please click the tiles at the top of the page to learn more about each intervention.
