Bailey Siber, Chief of Staff
Bailey Siber is Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Oklahoma City. She previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Mayor and as Senior Program Manager in the Office of Innovation, where she led initiatives ranging from data governance to homelessness. Before joining the City of Oklahoma City, she worked for the City of Boston's civic innovation and design team, MONUM. Siber previously held roles in nonprofits and tech startups focused on improving health outcomes and advancing economic mobility.
Siber graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School with a Master of Public Policy and a certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences. She earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Tufts University.
Bobby “Trae” Trousdale, Deputy Chief of Staff
Bobby “Trae” Trousdale is Deputy Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Oklahoma City. He is a proud citizen of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and came to the Mayor’s Office from his Nation’s Community Development Financial Institution. Prior to joining, he worked remotely for Native Americans in Philanthropy in Washington, D.C. and for Express Employment International. Bobby “Trae” married his college sweetheart, Taylor, and they reside on Oklahoma City’s Southside. He has participated in Leadership Native Oklahoma, Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Class XIX, and currently leads the Homeless Alliance’s Young Professionals Board. Trousdale also serves as the 2SLGBTQ+ liaison to the Mayor.
Bobby “Trae” graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Public Administration focused on Nonprofit Administration and a certificate in Native American Studies Tribal Governance and Policy. He attended Oklahoma City University and earned his bachelor’s degree cum laude, in both Mass Communication and Political Science, while serving as the institution’s first Native American Student Body President.
Karen Fox, Executive Assistant
Karen Fox has been Executive Assistant to the Mayor since 2012. She came to the Mayor’s Office from the Schnake Turnbo Frank public relations firm. She previously worked as Executive Assistant to Oklahoma State Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland. Fox is married with two sons. Her hobbies include cooking, exercise, and she is a member of the OK City Chorus of Sweet Adelines. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Southern Nazarene University.
City Government
In the Oklahoma City system of government, the City Manager, Municipal Counselor, City Auditor and municipal judges are the only employees hired by the Mayor and Council. They directly report to the Mayor and Council, and all other employees report to them.
