How to get a home sharing license

Step 1

Required Documents

  • Home sharing application
  • Home Sharing affidavit
  • Immigration affidavit (if applicable)
  • Zoning verification (completed by city staff)
  • Check for open construction permits (completed by city staff)
  • Proof of property ownership  (county assessor, mortgage)
  • Authorization from property owner, if applicant is a tenant (notarized letter from owner)
  • Proof that the property is the primary residence of the host, (photo ID, automobile registration, voters registration), unless a special exception has been obtained from the Board of Adjustment, or proof that home sharing was conducted at this location prior to January 15, 2019 (prior home sharing rental agreements, receipts of home sharing payments, or other evidence deemed sufficient by the Supervisor of Licenses)
