Will Rogers International Airport (OKC) today announced a new seasonal nonstop route to Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) on Southwest Airlines, restoring a critical East Coast connection for Oklahoma City travelers.

The seasonal nonstop service will operate weekly, launching Saturday, June 6, and running through Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026. This route marks the return of a highly requested destination; Oklahoma City has not had a nonstop flight to the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area since United Airlines canceled its service before the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are thrilled to partner with Southwest Airlines to bring back nonstop service to the Baltimore/Washington region," said Jeff Mulder, director of airports for Oklahoma City. "Restoring this route is a significant win for our community. It provides our residents with efficient, direct access to the nation's capital and the Northeast corridor for summer travel, while making it easier for visitors to experience everything Oklahoma City has to offer. This service strengthens our economic ties and enhances the travel experience for both business and leisure passengers."

The Saturday-only flights offer a convenient schedule for vacationers and families planning summer travel. Passengers can view schedules and book flights at southwest.com.
