The far-right southbound lane of May Avenue near N. 144th Street is closed for the next several hours while crews with the Oklahoma City Utilities Department work to repair a 16” water main break in the area.
The break is in the grass along the curbline, but crews must shut down the lane to create a safety barrier.
Those nearby, including businesses and residents in apartment complexes, will be without water while the repair is underway. Utilities officials estimate that service will be restored between 5 and 7 p.m.
