Although the City of Oklahoma City does not operate food pantries or provide direct financial assistance, we have compiled a list of resources available to those in need.

Parts of OKC receive minor damage from severe storms

The following areas of Oklahoma City received minor damage after severe storms passed through around 10 p.m. on April 27. This is the damage that’s been reported so far:

5407 Canyon Dr. – power lines down
4500 Tinker Rd. – power line damage
NW 10th Street and Sara Road – power line damage
SE 29th Street and Westminster Road – power lines and stop signs down
I-40 and Anderson Road – concrete reported under I-40.

Public Works and public safety crews have been dispatched. Residents should stay away from downed power lines and avoid these areas.
