Oklahoma City will honor its fallen firefighters and their families on April 28 by participating in the national Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters, a tribute symbolizing support and remembrance.
The SkyDance Bridge, Crystal Bridge Conservatory and several fire stations throughout Oklahoma City will be illuminated in red to honor the City’s fallen fire heroes.
“The National Light the Night event is an opportunity to honor fallen firefighters and their families,” Oklahoma City Fire Chief Richard Kelley said. “This year, we are honoring the 18 OKC firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty over our 137-year history.”
