OKC Utilities crews repairing 20-inch water main break on Memorial
Published on February 10, 2026
Oklahoma City Utilities crews are working to repair a 20-inch water main break at West Memorial Road and McAuley Boulevard.
To allow crews to safely access the area and complete repairs, eastbound lanes of Memorial Road from North Meridian Avenue to the Tulsa Avenue bridge are temporarily closed. Traffic can continue traveling northbound and southbound on North Meridian Avenue; however, vehicles are restricted from traveling east on Memorial Road in the immediate area unless accessing the John Kilpatrick Turnpike or entering the Mercy complex to access the Love Family Women's Center.
The break temporarily impacted water pressure in the area, but pressure has been restored.
Officials anticipate repair work being completed by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11. Lane closures are expected to remain in place after the water main is repaired to allow for necessary roadway restoration.
