The annual meeting brings more than 300 mayors from across the nation to advocate for cities in the nation’s capital, network and share best practices.

“It’s an honor to represent Oklahoma City in this national role and on this national stage at our Annual Winter Meeting,” Mayor Holt said. “This meeting brings together the nation’s finest political leaders – our mayors. We will use this time to learn from each other and to speak for our cities in our nation’s capital.”

The agenda features sessions on critical issues facing cities, including immigration, disaster management, water policy, global affairs, behavioral health, policing, infrastructure, housing legislation, artificial intelligence, community engagement, data centers and homelessness. Visiting speakers will include Members of Congress and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

The United States Conference of Mayors is the official nonpartisan organization of cities. There are over 1,400 such cities in the country today with populations of 30,000 or more. Each city is represented in the conference by its chief elected official, the mayor.
