Important voting deadlines for Feb. 10 OKC mayoral election

Oklahoma City will hold a mayoral election on Tuesday, Feb. 10. All registered Oklahoma City voters are eligible to vote.
Voting deadlines
- Register to vote: The last day to register to vote in the election is Friday, Jan.16. Visit ok.gov/elections to download a voter registration application.
- Absentee ballots: The last day to request an absentee ballot for the election is 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26.
- Early voting: Early voting for the election is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, and Friday, Feb. 6.
- Election day: The election is Tuesday, Feb. 10.
To find your polling location, look at your voter ID card or use the Oklahoma State Election Board website at ok.gov/elections.
Candidate information
Two candidates have filed to run for mayor of OKC.
- David Holt (Incumbent)
- Matthew Pallares
The mayor, elected at large, serves alongside eight city council members who represent each of Oklahoma City's eight wards. Together, they comprise the Oklahoma City Council.
The mayor and council are nonpartisan, and members serve part-time at the head of the City’s Council-Manager form of government. The mayor's annual salary is $24,000, and council members make $12,000 annually.
