Global Entry enrollment launches weekly at OKC Airport

OKC travelers can now enroll in Global Entry, a trusted traveler program administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, onsite at OKC Will Rogers International Airport weekly beginning Thursday, Oct. 8. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. every Thursday.

“We are grateful to have Global Entry here at OKC International Airport to create a new benefit for Oklahoma City residents and visitors,” Director of Airports Jeff Mulder said. “With our new international flight to Cancun and more on the horizon, adding access to Global Entry enrollment continues to elevate OKC’s travel offerings.”

Global Entry is a program that simplifies international travel for passengers flying more than four times a year.

“Global Entry continues to be one of CBP’s most popular Trusted Traveler programs, and we continue to look for ways to expand access and make the enrollment process more convenient to travelers in the Oklahoma City region,” said Michael S. Pequano, CBP Port Director for Oklahoma City. “CBP is always working to strengthen the travel experience.”

Interested Global Entry travelers must enroll online at https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry before scheduling an interview appointment. Here is how to enroll:

Create a profile and submit your application.
Pay the $120 fee.
You will receive an email that your application is “Conditionally Approved.”
Log in to your account to schedule an appointment using the provided access code.

Once accepted, your membership will last five years and include TSA Precheck. TSA Precheck allows people to keep their shoes, belts and light jackets on through security checkpoints and not have to remove their electronics from a carry-on bag.

Global Entry members can use Global Entry processing technology at more than 75 airports when returning to the U.S. from travel abroad.
