OKC Parks has something for everyone this holiday season

Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Holiday Season will come alive at Will Rogers Gardens, 3400 NW 36th St., on Sunday, Nov. 26, for the holiday tree lighting ceremony. From 4-7 p.m. enjoy live music, food trucks, carriage rides and a special guest, OKC Thunder’s Rumble! Holiday costumes are encouraged, and this is an all-family member event. No event registration is needed.

Gentle Yoga

Will Rogers Senior Center, 3501 Pat Murphy Dr., is hosting “Gentle Yoga” at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, and Wednesday, Nov. 29. Gentle yoga is a slower-paced form of yoga. In this class, you’ll use simple movements with good guidance and other variations according to ability and need. Experience better balance, quality of breathing and greater awareness. $10/person. Registration ends Nov. 29.

Artful Beginnings

Southern Oaks Recreation Center, 6818 S Walker Ave., hosts “Artful Beginnings” nearly every weekday, except during holiday closures. Artful Beginnings is the place where your kids will discover their inner creativity with OKC Parks’. Every month, a different craft project will be taught celebrating that month’s holidays. Classes are offered for kids ages 6-17, and participants will need to be registered for After School Kids Club. Registration for November After School Kids Club ends Nov. 30, and registration for December After School Kids Club ends Dec. 15. $10/child/month.
