Downtown street closures for Festival of the Arts April 10 – May 4

Temporary street closures before, during and after the Festival of the Arts will affect downtown traffic April 10 - May 4.

The Festival will take place April 23-26 in Bicentennial Park, between the Civic Center Music Hall and City Hall.

Streets bordering the park will be closed for setup starting at 8 a.m. Friday, April 10. View a map of the closures(PDF, 309KB).

The closures include:

  • Walker Avenue: Northbound from Colcord Drive to Robert S. Kerr Avenue. Southbound from Robert S. Kerr Avenue to Main Street. City Hall and the Arts District Garage will be accessible from Walker Avenue and Latting Circle.
  • Lee Avenue: Northbound from Main Street to Couch Drive with alley access. Northbound and southbound lanes from Colcord Drive to Couch Drive.
  • Colcord Drive: From Shartel Avenue east to Walker Avenue.
  • Couch Drive: From Walker Avenue west to Lee Avenue.

All streets will reopen by 5 p.m. Monday, May 4. Drivers should allow extra time downtown during the closures.

On-street parking along Bicentennial Park will not be accessible while the streets are closed. Pedestrian access to Bicentennial Park and Civic Center Music Hall will be maintained.
