City of OKC offices closed July 3 in observance of Independence Day

The Independence Day weekend holiday schedule for City of OKC services is below:

Friday, July 3

  • Trash and recycling collection as usual.
  • OKC Animal Welfare is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. with adoptions starting at noon.
  • Closed:
    • City offices.
    • Municipal Court.
    • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center.
    • OKC Parks recreation centers, community centers, gyms, performing arts centers, pools and family aquatic centers and the Will Rogers Senior Center.
      • All outdoor parks open 5 a.m. - 11 p.m.
    • Martin Park Nature Center.
      • Outdoor grounds open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    • Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center and Ed Lycan Conservatory.
      • Outdoor grounds open 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Independence Day (Saturday, July 4)

  • Closed:
    • OKC Animal Welfare.
    • Willa D. Johnson Recreation Center to close at 1 p.m.
    • Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center and Ed Lycan Conservatory.
      • Outdoor grounds open 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    • Free fare for OKC buses, OKC Streetcar, RAPID and OKC PLUS Zone 1 & 1a ADA Paratransit.
      • OKC buses operate on a weekend schedule.
      • RAPID operates on a 30-minute frequency from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
      • OKC Streetcar operates on a regular schedule until 2 a.m.
      • OKC PLUS operates on a weekend schedule, and 235-PLUS Call Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
      • Transit Center Customer Service and 235-RIDE Call Center are closed.
