City of OKC offices closed Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day

Thursday trash and recycling pick up moved to Saturday, Jan. 3

The New Year’s Day schedule for City of OKC services is below:

New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)

• Trash and recycling pick up is moved. Make-up day is Saturday, Jan. 3. Bulky waste collection not affected.
• Free fare for OKC buses, OKC Streetcar, RAPID and OKC PLUS Zone 1 ADA Paratransit.
  • OKC buses operate on a weekend schedule.
  • RAPID operates on a 30-minute frequency from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • OKC Streetcar operates on a regular schedule until midnight.
  • OKC PLUS operates on a weekend schedule, and 235-PLUS Call Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Transit Center Customer Service and 235-RIDE Call Center are closed.

• Closed:
  • City offices.
  • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center.
  • Animal Welfare.
  • Municipal Court.
    • Pay online at okc.gov. For details about posting bonds, visit okc.gov/courts.
  • OKC Parks recreation centers, community centers, gyms, senior centers and family aquatic centers.
    • All outdoor parks open 5 a.m. - 11 p.m.
  • Martin Park Nature Center.
    • Outdoor grounds open 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center and Ed Lycan Conservatory.
    • Outdoor grounds open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Additional closures

• OKC Parks community centers, performing arts centers and gyms will be closed Friday, Jan. 2.
