Body Burn
The Willa D. Johnson Recreation Center, 909 Fredrick Douglass Ave., is hosting Body Burn on March 22 at 7:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The 16 and up workout class is a combination of bodyweight and free-weight exercises to help boost your strength and endurance. This high-intensity class will get your heart rate up. The class can be modified to each person’s fitness level.

Mason Bees and Their Hotels
Will Rogers Gardens, 3400 NW 36th St., is hosting an event called Mason Bees and Their Hotels on March 23 at 10 a.m. Children and adults can help pollinate the plants and vegetables in your backyard with a Mason Bee Hotel. These hotels are artificial nesting structures designed to attract pollinators. By giving pollinators a protected place to lay eggs, hatch larvae and grow into beautiful butterflies, they help pollinate vegetation within your yard and neighborhood.

Fun in the Trees
If you’ve ever wondered how arborists safely climb around in treetops, here’s your chance to find out. Will Rogers Gardens is holding its Fun in the Trees class on March 23 at 10 a.m. You’ll learn basics and then get harnessed up and into the old Oak in the Park.
Registration required. $10 per participant, and registration ends on March 23. Climbers 7-17 are welcome. Register online here.
Easter on the Green
The Easter Bunny is visiting Will Rogers Gardens on March 30 at 9:30 and 11 a.m. for an Easter Egg Hunt in the Color Garden. There will be crafts in the Conservatory and a designated area for the younger children during each hunt.
