My name is Shane Welch, I was born and raised in Oklahoma. In 2005, I began working in a machine shop making parts for farm equipment, the Oil Field, and the Department of Defense. During this time, I taught myself to weld while playing in my garage building my own car. In 2017, I began working at the Science Museum Oklahoma as a fabricator and honed my skills working with a variety of materials, electronics, and the installation of exhibitions. Over the past few years, I have enjoyed building functional art pieces for the City of Oklahoma City. I am looking forward to continually connecting trades, craftsmanship, and the arts to our Oklahoma Communities.
