Kortny Miller, aka Red Dirt Rosie, is an artist based in Ponca City and specializing in mural art, window murals, and acrylic work with 20+ years of experience. Her mission is to use creative and colorful designs to enhance communities and catch the eye with attention grabbing art. Working with acrylic and various painting methods, Miller creates vibrant, whimsical, and joyful pieces. Her mission is to bring her vision to life, to imagine a better place, and to add a touch of whimsy to her surroundings. She works to bring out the creativity and vividness of colors that will make the viewer's eyes light up. Miller's art, whether large or small, is aimed at making people joyful as they take in the energetic paintings and creative design. Her commitment to putting out uplifting art that celebrates the beauty, wonder and hope of our days and dreams drives people together to view her whimsical visions. Description: Call Hope to Rise is a mural located in Seminole, OK, the first large mural for their community. Funded between the Seminole Art Counsel and The City of Seminole, this mural is being used to bring awareness to public art and the positive impact it has and to trailblaze for future public art projects. This mural measured a height of 24 feet and 26 feet in length. A mixture of latex and spray cans were used to execute this project.
