Mack Brim
Artist Bio
Inspired by the modern feminine experience, Mack Brim creates figurative oil paintings that explore our personal identities as women. Featuring both portraits and still lives, there is a deep connection between personhood and object.
Narrative is central to her work. She is inspired by the traditional vanitas, in which there are hints to a larger story within the painting. The stories of the women in her life inspire these narratives that have an intimate resonance.
Mack Brim has shown in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and New York. Her pieces are sought after internationally, gracing private collections worldwide.
