Chandler C. Wilson is a mixed media artist living and working in Oklahoma City. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts in 2015. She pulls inspiration from travel, earth formations and memorable experiences. She has translated these inspirations into colorful mixed media art which are driven by experimental processes. Chandler is an active member of the Oklahoma City art community serving in Art Group leadership since 2018.

Mozambique Midnight is about a memory traveling to Mozambique. I woke up in the night to see deep purple mountains. This memory has influenced many works and started my fascination with mountains.

It is the beginning of experiments for ways to push my art to activate space and utilize multiple medias in one artwork rather than separate works. I used sewing, starch and glue to make the shape.
