OKC Utilities Line Maintenance crews are working to repair a ruptured eight-inch water main on NW 122nd Street.
The break has caused extensive road damage, requiring the closure of all four lanes of NW 122nd from MacArthur Boulevard to the 6300 block of NW 122nd.
Given the severity of the damage, officials expect the closures to remain in place overnight and potentially into tomorrow afternoon.
Currently, water service has not been impacted. However, customers in the area may temporarily experience lower-than-normal or, in some cases, no water pressure.
The cause of the main break has not yet been determined.
