Mick Cornett | Mayor of Oklahoma City
The son of postal worker and school teacher, Mick Cornett was born and raised in Oklahoma City. From an early age, his parents taught him the value of public service and encouraged him to keep the faith, work hard and dream big.
Today, Mayor Mick Cornett, the first four-term mayor in Oklahoma City history, is leading a thriving community that reflects the same principles.
He has been honored by various organizations and publications as the top Mayor in the state and nation --and an international panel selected Mayor Cornett as the second-best mayor in the world.Newsweekmagazine called him one of the "five most innovative Mayors in the United States."
Recently elected to a leadership position in the US Conference of Mayors, he is in line to be President of that organization in 2016.
He famously put the entire city on a diet to raise awareness on the national issue of obesity. His leadership helped bring the NBA to OKC. During his time in office, Oklahoma City has invested nearly $2 billion in schools and quality-of-life infrastructure through the innovative MAPS program. That investment generated nearly $6 billion in private sector investment. Today, Oklahoma City's economy is one of the nation's most robust.
Mayor Cornett is a popular national speaker on the topics of health and wellness, urban design, placemaking and walkable cities. His TED TALK on those topics has been viewed by more than 1 million people worldwide.
Kurt Foreman | Executive Vice President of Economic Development, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber
Kurt Foreman joined the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber as executive vice president of economic development in 2012. Kurt leads the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber’s 14-member economic development team focused on job creation and capital investment by attracting new businesses, growing and retaining existing businesses, supporting innovation and entrepreneurial development, and attracting destination retail businesses. He and the team also work closely with stakeholders across the region’s bioscience, aviation, energy and creative industry clusters to support their growth.
Kurt has nearly 25 years of experience in and around economic development including time in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and twice in the Washington, DC region. He also has worked nationally as a site selection consultant and as an executive recruiter with Korn/Ferry International, a leading global executive search firm. Kurt received his bachelor’s degree at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA and his MBA from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.
Jennifer Haroon | Head of Business Development, Self-Driving Cars at Google X
Jennifer Haroon is the Head of Business Operations, Self-Driving Cars at Google X, where she focuses on strategic initiatives, business operations and partnerships. She previously launched Project Link, a wholesale metro fiber network in Kampala, Uganda, represented Google on the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI) and launched a number of Google’s health-related initiatives, including Google Flu Trends and the Flu Vaccine Finder. Prior to Google, Jennifer was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group. From the San Francisco and Stockholm offices, she worked with organizations ranging from global public health to private equity. Jennifer also worked as an Associate in the Equity Research group of Thomas Weisel Partners. Jennifer received her B.S. from Duke University and MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
Clay Moss | Managing Director, Real Estate, Hall Capital
Clay Moss joined Hall Capital in 2009 to oversee the growth of the Hall Capital real estate portfolio through acquisitions and developments. Prior to joining Hall Capital, Clay served as a commercial real estate broker specializing in multi-tenant office properties and historic redevelopments. He was named a CoStar Power Broker in 2006, 2007, and 2008. Also, in 2008, he received the prestigious OKC Biz “40 under 40” award. Clay is currently active in many civic organizations, but currently concentrates on the Wes Welker Foundation and ASTEC Charter Schools. Clay holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the Acton School of Business.

Dr. Tom J. McDaniel | President, American Fidelity Foundation
Tom J. McDaniel became President of American Fidelity Foundation on September 1, 2011, after having served as President and Chancellor of Oklahoma City University from July 1, 2001 to August 31, 2011. He retired as Vice Chairman and Director of Kerr McGee Corporation in 2000 and then served as President of Northwestern Oklahoma State University, becoming the first graduate of that school to ever serve as its President, before joining OCU. He holds a business degree from Northwestern, a Jurist Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from OCU.
He is active in the community, serving on numerous boards and commissions and currently serves as Chairman of the Citizens Advisory Board for the MAPS III projects.
McDaniel and his wife, Brenda, were selected 2010 “Treasures of Tomorrow” by the Oklahoma Health Foundation. Among his recognitions he was recently named Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEO in large non-profits. In 2006 he was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Michael Eric Owens | Community Development Director, Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City
Michael Eric Owens is the Community Development Director for the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City. He is a distinguished scholar, writer, and speaker. Michael also serves as the Executive Director of the Ralph Ellison Foundation.
Following a successful career in the United States Navy where he achieved Sailor of the Year honors, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, earning degrees in History and Political Science and Law as well as the Outstanding Graduate Award. He received his Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Throughout his career, Michael has received countless awards and is a proud member of the National Scholars Honor Society. As a leader and advocate in minority communities throughout the United States, Michael has created, spearheaded, and coordinated community programming that is engaging and unifying. He transitioned to Oklahoma with a proven track record of bringing diverse communities together to provide opportunities for collaboration and cultural and social exchanges. Michael has appeared on such programs as OKC Metro, OKC Mayor Magazine, and the Fox Morning Show. He has been interviewed on numerous national radio programs.
Michael serves on the Oklahoma Civil Rights Commission Advisory Board, the Oklahoma City Arts Commission Board, and the Lynn Institute Board of Directors. Michael was named 2013 Educator of the Year by Perry Publishing & Broadcasting.
As a community organizer, Michael has administered literacy, leadership, and mentor programming. He continues to be successful at integrating divergent opinions, dispelling misconceptions, and mitigating arising conflicts when it comes to community building. Michael is a skilled strategist, helping local leaders reach a consensus regardless of their initial position. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, reading and writing, and exploring the outdoors of Oklahoma.
Nathaniel Harding | President, Harding & Shelton Exploration
Nathaniel Harding is President of Harding & Shelton Exploration (HSE), an upstream oil and gas company headquartered in Bricktown. Nathaniel directs exploration, production, and new ventures. He has been named one of the Most Admired CEOs in Oklahoma by the Journal Record. His company is actively acquiring O&G assets in Oklahoma. An affiliated company, Diversified Historic Properties (DHP), owns and develops commercial properties. DHP renovated the 100-year-old Red Ball Building for HSE’s headquarters in 2011, and is currently developing the Case Plow Building.
Nathaniel graduated cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with Russian and engineering degrees, and earned an MBA from Oklahoma City University. He is a decorated Air Force Captain and veteran of Afghanistan, where he was embedded with the US/NATO headquarters in collaboration with the Afghan government. Nathaniel has been published in multiple industry publications in the US and China, the latter as part of his Beijing-based joint venture with major Chinese oil companies.
In 2010, Mayor Cornett appointed Nathaniel to the MAPS 3 Advisory Board and to chair the Streetcar Subcommittee. Nathaniel is active with Leadership OKC, Downtown Club, Redbud Classic, Rotary, Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, and the OKC Chamber of Commerce. He has been a Miss Oklahoma judge, track national champion, Russian orphanage translator, political party National Vice Chairman, and local TV talk show host.
Greg Fischer | Mayor of Louisville, Kentucky
Committed to growing jobs and creating a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, Greg Fischer was elected Louisville's 50th mayor in 2010 -- and was sworn in for a second four-year term on January 5, 2015. Since taking office, Mayor Fischer has pursued three top goals: making Louisville a city of lifelong learning, a much healthier city and an even more compassionate community. These are the three pillars of his administration. As a businessman and entrepreneur, he brings a data-driven approach to city government with a goal of making it more efficient and accessible.
Greg is a trustee for the U.S. Conference of Mayors and is past chair of the Conference's Metro Economies Committee which addresses economic problems facing the nation’s cities and their residents. He was named a “Public Official of the Year” by Governing Magazine, the only U.S. mayor to earn that honor in 2013. He is an entrepreneur who started several businesses including SerVend International and Iceberg Ventures, a private investment firm. He also co-founded bCatalyst, the first business accelerator in Louisville.

Douglas J. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Doug regularly counsels clients in all aspects of intellectual property including acquisition and commercialization of intellectual property, portfolio management, licensing and transactional matters. He is ranked in Band 1 (the top band) for intellectual property law by the highly regarded Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2015, and he was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2015 for Technology Law. Managing IP recently ranked Doug as an IP Star for 2015. Doug is incredibly honored to have been named one of 15 Minority Rainmakers of the Year in 2014 by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association. Doug was also selected by attorney peers for inclusion in Oklahoma Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Edition(2010).
He is an adjunct faculty member at the Oklahoma City University School of Law and in the Physiology Department at the University of Oklahoma's Health Sciences Center. Prior to joining Dunlap Codding in 1996, Doug was a member of Dick & Harris, a Chicago intellectual property boutique law firm.
Locally, Doug currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Oklahoma City's Film Row District, the Oklahoma City Girls Art School, and Creative Oklahoma. He is the Chairman of the Board of Canterbury Voices.
Scott Booker | CEO & Director ACM@UCO
Scott Booker is the founder and owner of Hellfire Enterprises Ltd. He is the CEO and Director of the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma, and host and interviewer of the ACM Masterclass Series. Scott is a member of The Recording Academy’s GRAMMY Hall of Fame selection committee, serves on the board of Creative Oklahoma, is a commissioner for the Oklahoma Arts Commission, and has served on the board of Governors for the Texas Branch of NARAS. Scott served as “cultural coordinator” of Music in the Metro, ACM Rocks Bricktown and the OKC Rock for Oklahoma tornado relief benefit. He also frequently consults businesses and government agencies on the entertainment industries.
Scott Booker began his music industry career at 15, working as a clerk in a Sound Warehouse record store. He managed the Oklahoma City indie Rainbow Records stores for ten years, while promoting local and national musical artists. After helping the Flaming Lips sign a record deal with Warner Bros. Records in 1990, Scott created Hellfire Enterprises Ltd. Scott has managed the three-time Grammy Award-winning Flaming Lips for 25 years and continues working with national and international artists.
Scott Marsh | Hellfire Management
Scott Marsh is a multifaceted music professional with experience in artist management, talent buying, festival production, marketing and brand integration. He lends a passionate, guiding hand to management clients and helps steer artist careers in multiple areas of the music business industry. Marsh inked his first artist management deal as he finished a degree in Journalism at Oklahoma State University in 2007, learning the ins and outs of the industry from other professionals across the country in the years to follow. By 2009, he had setup shop as Moustache Management in Stillwater. Moustache Management's first signees, Taddy Porter, The Happen-Ins and Larry g(EE), subsequently went on to sign label deals, as well as publishing deals with Primary Wave Music.
At the same time, Marsh sought to translate his talents to other aspects of the industry. Levelland Productions pegged Marsh to oversee festival operations and talent buying in 2010. By the following year, he was named the company's COO, having produced and promoted hundreds of events, concerts and festivals across the United States in his time there.
In 2013, Marsh and Booker structured a strategic partnership to co-manage several artists. That union was further cemented with the complete merger of Moustache Management into Hellfire Management in 2015. To date, the company manages and consults for an array of different artists and continues to bolster its talented roster with new signees. Marsh co-founded the music-based social media platform Amplifan in 2014, continuing to develop and grow the app as a means to sweeten the fan experience by becoming a leading source for musicians to engage and interact off-stage with their most loyal patrons. A fan at heart, Marsh also seeks to bridge the gap between entertainers and the fans desiring to connect to them, both with his event coordination efforts and by designing new platforms for interpersonal interactions.
