The MAPS 4 Citizens Advisory Board has 11 members, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council, serving three-year terms. The board members are residents of Oklahoma City at the time of their initial appointment and must remain OKC residents throughout their tenure. Two members were appointed at-large, eight members were appointed from each of the eight City Council wards, and one member is a rotating City Council member.
Board members are responsible for reviewing proposed projects and submitting recommendations to the City Council.
The board shall have six standing subcommittees to provide recommendations to the board. Each subcommittee will have five to seven at-large members appointed by the Mayor with confirmation by the Council. Subcommittee members must also be residents of Oklahoma City at the time of their initial appointment and throughout their tenure.
