The MAPS 4 Citizens Advisory Board will consist of 11 members, appointed by the Mayor with confirmation by Council, serving three-year terms. The board members shall be residents of Oklahoma City at the time of their initial appointment and throughout their tenure. Two members shall be appointed at-large, eight members will be appointed from each of the eight City Council wards, and one member shall be a City Council member.
Board members will be responsible for reviewing proposed projects and submitting recommendations to the City Council. The Mayor and Council will determine board’s structure to be established in the coming weeks through a Council resolution.
The board shall have six standing subcommittees to provide recommendations to the board. Each subcommittee will have five to seven at-large members appointed by the Mayor with confirmation by Council. Subcommittee members must also be residents of Oklahoma City at the time of their initial appointment and throughout their tenure.
