COVID-19 (new coronavirus) and phone malfunctions: There is a Shelter in Place order in Oklahoma City until April 30 as the pandemic continues. Visit covid19.okc.gov for updates and details. Also, an unrelated vendor issue is preventing us from receiving many inbound phone calls, and you may be getting a busy signal. The vendor is working to fix the problem, and we're sorry for the frustration.

Scissortail Park is open

The 40-acre upper section of Scissortail Park is open in downtown Oklahoma City. About 28,000 people packed a grand opening concert on Sept. 27 to officially open the park, which has something for everyone along its winding paths. Visit scissortailpark.org for a park map, hours, an event calendar and other details. Construction on the 30-acre lower park begins in 2020 and is scheduled to finish in 2021.
