The OKC Dodgers Rookie League is committed to enriching the lives of our youth and fostering a love of the game. The league provides a developmental, fun and safe environment for the enjoyment of the game of baseball. The OKC Dodgers Rookie League intends to help youth to set and work towards common goals, and to build the citizens of tomorrow through character, leadership ability and confidence.

Additionally, the OKC Dodgers Rookie League emphasizes four core values through P.L.A.Y.

Participation
The OKC Dodgers Rookie League aims to increase baseball participation within the community by partnering with Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation.
Leadership
The OKC Dodgers Rookie League is more than just playing baseball. It's also about cultivating our community's next generation of leaders and citizens of tomorrow.
Accessibility
The OKC Dodgers Rookie League makes baseball accessible to our community's youth by providing equipment and resources.
Youth Education
Through the game of baseball, the OKC Dodgers Rookie League teaches important lessons, such as teamwork and sportsmanship.

 

League Information

  • Teams will play a 7-game schedule, followed by a special event at the Bricktown Ballpark.

  • All games will be played at Wheeler Park located at 1120 S. Western Avenue.

  • Registration Deadline is February 24th, 2020.

  • Season will run from April 4th- June 13th, 2020.

  • All games are played on Saturdays.

     Divisions

  •  4U Tee Ball : $35/player

  • 6U Tee Ball : $35/player

  • 8U Coach Pitch : $55/player

  • 10U Kid Pitch : $55/player

    ***TEAM PRICING AVAILABLE***

  • Equipment Provided: The league will provide a jersey, hat and belt for each player.  Each team will receive catching equipment and practice gear for the season.  Players are responsible for cleats and pants.
  • Practices are on day a week based on volunteer coaches' availability. 
  • Games are played at Wheeler Park, 1120 S Western Ave.
  • Season: Spring

Coaching Information

The recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you would like to help the program by becoming a coach, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteer coaches are allowed to bring any amount of kids to their team. The remaining roster will be filled by the league director based on a blind draw and the school the children attend.
