Part of the Oklahoma River Trail temporarily closed for river dredging

Post Date:01/28/2020 3:39 PM

Part of the Oklahoma River Trail will be closed starting Wednesday, Jan. 29 during dredging of river-bottom sediment.

The trail will be closed between Western and Walker avenues on the north riverbank. It’s expected to remain closed until April 1.

Trail users will be able to detour around the trail closure by going through Wheeler Park. Click here for a map. Crews are working to put detailed detour signs in place, but they may not be ready in the first days of the closure.
