Post Date:03/14/2019 2:24 PM

Wear green to OKC Animal Welfare on Sunday for a free or half-price dog or cat adoption in celebration of St. Pet-rick’s Day.

Anyone wearing green at the shelter Sunday can participate in the special. Some adoptable dogs and cats with a green shamrock on their kennel can be adopted for free, and every other adoptable dog and cat can be adopted for $30.

There will be free popcorn and snow cones, a photo area, and free ID tags at the event.

All adoptable animals at OKC Animal Welfare are up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, treated for worms and spayed or neutered.

OKC Animal Welfare, 2811 SE 29th Street, is open for adoptions from noon to 5:30 p.m. every day but holidays. For more information, visit okc.gov/animalwelfare or call 297-3100.
