Recreation center closed for repairs at Pilot Park

Post Date:08/20/2018 2:22 PM

The recreation center at Pilot Park, 1435 NW 2nd Street, is closed for repairs until further notice.

The Parks and Recreation Department has started a long-term study to determine how to fix an ongoing issue with moisture in the building. The study and repair make the center unfit for public use, but they will be completed as soon as possible.

The playground remains open.

Patrons of the recreation center should consider the Pitts Recreation Center, 1920 N Kate Ave., or Schilling Recreation Center, 539 SE 25th Street, as alternatives until the repair is complete. Both centers are open 3-8:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Visit okc.gov/parks or call (405) 297-3882 for more information about the Parks & Recreation Department’s recreation centers.
