Post Date:05/14/2018 2:03 PM

Enjoy live music and outdoor entertainment for free at Outdoorfest on May 19 at the Will Rogers Amphitheater in Will Rogers Park.

The free event at the park, near Portland Avenue and NW 33rd Street, is 2-9 p.m. Saturday, May 19. It’s hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department and Friends of Martin Park.

“This is a great opportunity for everyone to come out and enjoy a beautiful City park while learning about several outdoor recreational opportunities this summer,” said Emily Hiatt, Martin Park Nature Center naturalist. “If you’re looking for ways to keep you or your kids active this summer, you’ll find information here.”

Headline musical performances on the amphitheater stage include Edgar Cruz at 4 p.m., and Kyle Dillingham and Horseshoe Road at 8 p.m. Food trucks and face painting are among other highlights.

Check out a live fish display from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation’s Fisheries Division, Texas horned lizards from Tinker Air Force Base, OKC Disc Dogs, a trailer from the National Wildlife Refuge System, information from OKC Parks and Recreation and more.

Kyle Dillingham and people from many of the participating organizations are available for media interviews in advance of the event.
