OKC Utilities Customer Service Contact Center changes business hours
The Utilities Department Customer Service Contact Center has changed its hours of operation to better serve customers during peak call times. The new hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center is closed on all City holidays.
Customers may call during business hours and speak to a customer service representative to start or end service, or to ask about their account, trash pick-up or water service.
The center offers multiple online and other self-service options on a 24/7 basis to help customers make payments, access their accounts and report water issues.
For water emergencies, including outages, call the 24-hour dispatch line at (405) 297-3334.
To pay a bill, set up an online account at okc.gov/water, download the OKC Utilities app for iPhone or Android, or call (405) 297-2833 to use the City’s self-service payment center via phone. Customers can also make a payment at one of 121 Paysite kiosks located throughout the OKC metro. A list of kiosk locations is available at okc.gov/water.
For general questions, including account information or to report trash or recycling service issues, customers may use the self-service phone system at (405) 297-2833, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Emails will be answered during regular business hours.
Customers with an online account through okc.gov/water have 24/7 access to view and pay their bill, look up their payment history, set up payment installments, view their current and historic water use, sign up for paperless billing, transfer or stop residential service, update their contact information, and even get water conservation tips.
The Utilities Department provides water, waste water and solid waste services to more than 1.2 million customers in central Oklahoma. It was recently awarded the 2017 Gold Award in Excellence in Utilities Management from the Association of Municipal Water Agencies.
