Monday’s trash and recycling pickup in Oklahoma City is postponed to Wednesday due to the severe weather threat. Collection on Tuesday will be delayed by an hour. City of OKC Recreation Centers are closed today due the threat of severe weather. Be prepared, not scared. OKC Zoo Water Conservation Workshop

Join the OKC Zoo and Botanical Garden, OKC’s Water Conservation Program, and Oklahoma State University Extension for a Water Conservation Workshop on Wednesday, May 15th from 9am to noon. Discover Oklahoma native plants and learn water-wise landscape practices you can use in your own garden. The workshop will include a walking tour of the Zoo’s Butterfly Garden, Oklahoma Trails, and the water conservation garden. Kid friendly activities at each stop on the tour.
