The Downtown Design Review Committee administers the design review process and issues Certificates of Approval for property located within the Downtown area. The seven-member board is appointed by the Mayor with consent of the Council. Three members shall be a combination of registered architects, landscape architects, urban planners or licensed civil engineers, two members shall be licensed real estate professionals and one member shall be a member of the Urban Design Commission and one member shall be a citizen of the City of Oklahoma City. The Committee meets the third Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chamber
